The prolific scriptwriter and director is one person who is not keeping quiet about the unending violence and incessant killings taking place around the world at the moment.

Today he offered some solutions on what he called the ‘naked madness’ going on in the world.

Hear him:

Even as Americans are debating on the possibility of coming up with new laws on gun control, I sincerely believe that we need to legalize guns in Nigeria. Too many of the rubbish that happens in Nigeria would not see the light of day if we have guns.

Americans need their guns to safeguard their democracy against tyrants. The madness that happened in Nigeria when military guys left the barracks and hijacked the powers of the state, and ultimately destroyed our country by institutionalizing corruption, would not have happened if we had our guns. They would have been scared. Americans should be left with their guns. I simply want the new laws to ensure that guns do not end up in the hands of lunatics.

Sincerely, as in honestly, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu Esq,Ayaka ndi Enugwu-Ukwu and Okwulu Igbo na Umunri believes that ALL NORMAL PEOPLE should have their guns.

Kidnapping for example would be forgotten in Nigeria if all normal men have their guns. Armed bandits that invade homes with guns would join another legitimate business when all NORMAL PEOPLE have their guns. Who will they invade?

Rapists that waylay innocent girls and rape them would not try that anymore because they would be afraid. They never can tell the babe that is holding a gun.

People are free to argue and say what they feel. The truth remains that I believe that significant level of sanity would return in Nigeria when guns are legalized for ALL NORMAL PEOPLE.

(Very unusual update but I need to say what is in my mind).

Well, what do you think of his opinion?

Mr Chairman, you spoke well but could you please define NORMAL PEOPLE. To me Nigerians are Nigerians, why do we always segregate? In America where gun was legalized, i believe there was procedure for approval of such. I think you should remove the clause of NORMAL PEOPLE. As far as i am concerned, Nigerians regardless of tribe, ethnic and class are all NORMAL PEOPLE.

Lol! Love, normal I guess he meant, mentally sounded people. Some people have a mental problem you know. But notwithstanding, the idea of gun legalization is never a pleasant one, not even in America.
