The multi award winning queen of entertainment and Nollywood new face was presented with the award for excellence for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of the positive image of Africa and Africans around the world through entertainment at the 2012 Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB award) at the London Hilton Hotel, Paddington.
Theodora is the founder of the Miss Elegant International Beauty pageant and the CEO of Theodoraibekwepr. She has been involved in raising funds for so many charities in the UK and Nigeria. Theo as she is called by her friends was looking fabulous on the night in her true elegant style with a touch of sophistication from head to toe.
After receiving her award she thanked God for making it possible, she said it is great to know her work in the community is acknowledged by people and thanked the organizers for the honour bestowed on her. She promised to keep doing what she does best which is promoting the positive image of Africa and to continue helping the under privileged. Finally she dedicated the award to her beloved MUM whom she said has always believed in her and she is where she is today because of the support her family and friends give her all the time.
Theodora’s drive to succeed has seen her become the queen of entertainment and the super slick PR guru.
Miss Fatima Jabbe the Gambian Nollywood star based in the UK in her words said, ‘The History of Nigeria Entertainment will not be complete without the mention of the name Theodora Ibekwe’.
