Theodora Ibekwe, Nollywood’s newest face and CEO of wave-making PR Company Theodorapr, has been shortlisted as an Award finalist at the 14th Annual Gathering of Africa’s Best (GAB) Awards taking place at the Hilton London Paddington on Sunday 28 October 2012 from 5pm – 11.30pm.
The talented actress is nominated for her contributions to the Entertainment industry.
The GAB Awards was founded in 1999 by The Trumpet newspaper and the aim was to counter the huge negative publicity against Africans orchestrated by the UK mainstream media.
The GAB Awards is a unique opportunity for the best of Africa and friends of Africa to come together to network and showcase the very best that Africa has to offer. The event also rewards excellence within the community through the awards event.
“I am requesting the presence of my fans, friends and associates at the event as my guests,” says Theodora.
Speaking further, she says:
“The event is a ticketed event at £100 per head, but if you take a table of 10 it costs £875 (£87.50 per head). I trust that in spite of the short notice, I can count on your goodwill and support.”
