Nigerian celebrities

As Nigerians worldwide celebrate the country’s 52nd Independence Day, Nollywoodgossip reached out to the celebrities for their wishes for the great nation.

Below are what they wish Nigeria.

By Delia Innoma (Live Online With Delia).

Kenneth Okonkwo (Nollywood Actor)

I wish my entire fans and friends happy independence anniversary. Let us keep hope alive. God will soon smile at us. I love you all.

Jim Iyke (Nollywood Actor)

I’m blank and impassive about Nigeria at the moment. There has to be a degree of growth before the wishes or hope for improvements is possible. I think we are in limbo. Nothing to wish! I’m not being pessimistic but pragmatic. The truth is what it is.

Shan George (Nollywood Actress and Producer)

I wish Nigeria long life and prosperity. May God shower his abundant blessing upon us always.

Uche Jombo (Nollywood Actress/Producer)

I wish Nigeria a better and brighter (light) future…seriously, I pray for better Nigeria for all.

Lawrence Onuzulike (Nollywood Actor/Author)

I’m wishing Nigeria the best. And even though some of our progresses may be slow, we’re moving in the right direction. I want to urge my fellow Nigerians to spend less time criticizing and dismissing the country and spend more time acknowledging the positive things happening in the country.

Yemi Blaq (Nollywood Actor)

I wish Nigerians leadership that actually works.

Oby Edozieh Alex O (Nollywood Actress)

I’m wishing for prosperous, peaceful, independent and loving Nigeria in Jesus name, Amen. Happy independence celebration!! One love.

Nkiru Silvanus (Nollywood Actress)

I’m wishing Nigeria better leaders.

Mr. Raw Nwanne (Nigeria Musician)

I’m wishing Goodluck and Patience too for things to start turning around for good, lol. Remember Rome wasn’t built in one day. We’ll surely get there. Happy independence Day to my Nigeria. God bless Nigeria.

I’m wishing Nigeria better leaders.

Mr. Kool (Nigeria Musician)

I’m wishing Nigeria God’s Spiritual Healing.

Patience Johnson (Nigerian Author)

My prayer for you is that the good Lord opens your citizen’s eyes to make the right choices and that God grant the Leaders his Wisdom to know that a leader is also a servant and is meant to carry people along. Happy independence once more!!!

Charles Abazie (Nollywood Actor)

What more can I wish for Nigeria other than peace and prosperity. Nigeria needs to improve. The masses are suffering and things are not getting better. Government should look into issues of security. Happy independence!

Junior Pope (Nollywood Actor)

I’m wishing Nigeria a revolution of positive changes to better the country.

Eeef Ify Ike (Nigeria Model, Author, Actor and TV presenter)

I pray that Nigeria and Nigerians experience the true essence of liberty. For life is meaningless without freedom. Happy independence.

Johnpaul Nwadike (Nollywood Actor)

I’m wishing all of us a better Nigeria. And I pray that God will give our leaders wisdom to lead Nigeria. We need Goodluck and patience. Happy Independence Day to my follow Nigerians.

Don Saint (Nigeria music)

I wish a better Nigeria. I wish a good life for everybody. I wish a good leadership and peace.

And finally, me, Delia Innoma (Nigerian writer)

I believe that God will deliver the people of Nigeria. I believe that Nigeria will be better again. I wish Nigeria good leaders, peace and prosperity. Happy Independence Day to all my people.
