On the 26th of September 2012, Enugu stood still as one of the most in demand actresses at the moment Joicy Kalu gathered Nollywood heavyweights at the popular White Leaf Hotel for her birthday party.

It’s not often that we see stalwarts like Olu Jacobs and Chiwetalu Agu at parties, but such is the clout of Joicy Kalu.

Also spotted at the event were Jaja Michaels, Earnest Obi, Onyeze Holdings, Uche Nanna, Chinyere Wilfred, Ebere Okaro, Chidi Chijioke and many others.

Speaking exclusively to Nollywoodgossip, Joicy Kalu says:

“I’m in Enugu shooting Onyeze’s job.”

Speaking further on the movie, she explains:

“The film is about a king that married 3 wives and had the problem of picking the son that will succeed him, and how the 3 wives were involved in so many things to get their sons on the throne.”

And on her birthday shindig, she says:

“I marked my birthday big this time because God has been good to me.”

She also asked us to use this opportunity to thank all those who attended her party and she wants her friends and fans to know she loves them dearly.
