- “But finally I fully returned to acting in 2011.”

Please can we meet you?
I’m Princess Chineke from Udi in Enugu state, a computer science graduate of university of Benin, been into entertainment for quite a while now. I started singing, modelling and featuring in commercials, runways, from childhood. Then I decided to have a background in art by undergoing broadcasting and acting courses in Nigeria and at the New York Film Academy, California. I’m the CEO of Beacon Modelling Agency www.beaconng.com.
What are you working on at the moment?
I’m presently shuttling between a Royal and a comic movie shoot.
When did you enter the industry?
I came into the industry in 2003 as a beauty queen but left immediately. Then I came back again in 2005, did TV soap Tarima and left to complete my degree, according to my parents’ decree. I came back again in 2007 and did a few movies like, strong men at work, where the heart lies, caught in d middle, give it up, wealth aside, and more, and then I left for Made magazine as their advert/subscription executive. But finally I fully returned to acting in 2011. I guess you can sum that up. Lol.

What are your challenges as an actress?

Advice to up-coming-artists.
Focus on competence and character rather than frivolities of supremacy and side attractive illusions, for lasting success is rooted in competence and character.
