- He also played the lead role in one of the biggest ever TV soap to be shown on Nigerian TV, Wale Adenuga’s Super Story.
- He has been chosen as one of the judges for the upcoming talents hunt reality TV show, The Talent Arena.
- Nollywoodgossip spoke with him briefly on his career and the reality TV show.

Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
My name is Collins Onwochei. I’m an actor and a film producer.
Tell our readers a little about entertainment life in Nigeria.
Well for me, showbiz is the biggest money generating business in the world, though stakeholders in the business here in Nigeria are still being shortchanged. Entertainment and the celebrity life is fun and I’m thankful to God that I’m part of it
How long have you been doing movies?
I started acting over 20 years ago, that’s almost the same time Nollywood took shape. I acted in the very first set of films produced in Nollywood, like Evil passion, circle of doom and glamor girls, so you can rightly say I belong to the old school, really. Some of my prominent films as an actor are Diamond Ring by Tade 0gidan, Extreme measures by Zeb Ejiro, king of the jungle, please come back, mortal sin, pains in my heart by Chico Ejiro, to mention a few.
As a producer, my first film was memory of a madman, followed by dangerous vow, days of the monkeys, and recently, Room 027 and traffickers, which are yet to be released but currently making waves at the cinemas. I also anchor and produce a talk show titled hidden issues.
You’ve been chosen as one of the judges for The Talent Arena reality TV show. What do you have to say?
Well for me it’s great! It’s an honor really, though I do stuffs like that often.
Tell us a little about the show.
The Talent Arena is a show that is seeking to unveil the ultimate entertainer, to find the next great singer, actor, dancer or comedian, even though the show is Christian based.
