- She recently starred in a blockbuster titled Heavy Beauty and today Nollywoodgossip had a brief chat with her on her career and role in the film.

Please introduce yourself to our readers.
My names are Bosede Olufunke Ogunboye. I’m a comedian and my stage name is Lepacious.
Where in Nigeria are you from?
From Okitipupa LGA of Ondo state.
How did the journey into comedy start?
It started way back at the University of Ibadan when I joined a group called Laffomania. It was a comedy group and I was the compere.
So you’ve always been funny?
I guess (laughs).
What are you working on at the moment?
I just finished a movie with Grace Edwin-Okon, a young dynamic Nollywood producer. The movie is called Heavy Beauty; great concept and different from the usual Nollywood stuff.
Please tell us more about the movie
Well the movie written by Grace as well is a simple youth motivated one about a young lady who wanted to contest in a beauty pageant but unfortunately discovered she was pregnant at the point of entry but she was still so motivated that she decided to go ahead anyway. So for once in Nollywood it’s a movie that had nothing to do with love, money, sex, rituals etc. It’s a simple story about a young girl’s battle to succeed and how she survived.
Tell us about your character in the film.
I played the role of the lawyer to the beauty pageant organizers, because when they refused to allow the pregnant girl to contest she sued them! Gbam! Action babe!
What do you think viewers will learn from the movie?
Viewers will learn that dreams do come true if only we can believe and go after what we want, and also all these beautiful models we see have their own issues, just because they are beautiful does not mean their lives are perfect.
