Chukwuemeka Njikonye is one of the happening guys in Nollywood at the moment. He joined the film industry in 2004, but had to take a break to further his education.
In 2008 he returned fully and has since been shuttling from one movie location to another.
“I have passion and creativity when it comes to acting,” he tells Joy Ubeku (Inside Nollywood With Joy).
Recanting his movies, he says:
“My first movie was festival of fire with Regina Askia and Saint Obi. But my newest movies now are Finding Goodluck with Shan George, City of Gangs with Nonso Diobi, and Half of a Yellow Sun with Mr Biyi Herbert from Hollywood.”
The Igbo born actor also has some encouraging words for the up-and-coming artists.
“My advice to up-and-coming actors and actresses is that acting is not about delving into lesbianism or Gay. Any producer or director that hugs you into such character wants to waste your destiny. Always attend auditions.”
