Adokiye formally known as Adokiye kyrian Yvonne is a singer and songwriter whose musical style is rooted to the afro-Fusion genre of music. Starting her musical journey at an early age, Adokiye was influenced by music from artist such as Onyeka Onwenu, Aretha Franklin, King Sunny Ade, Lauryn Hill etc. While in the university (Caritas University) she was a member of a minor musical group called the “MASE”. Her exploits with the group contributed in exposing and sharpening her musical skills.
Adokiye currently has two released singles titled “baby baby” featuring Olamide, and “kulumo kulumo” featuring Black 70. With her huge hunger for producing good music, she believes that through hard work and dedication, she can someday be rated as one of the best African Artist.
However, Music is not the only thing that keeps Adokiye busy. She flexes her talent as an entrepreneur by trading on different types of goods and also enjoys empowering the less privilege from all works of life.
