My name is Benita Akpofe, from Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra state. I’m an actress and also a model.
Some movies you’ve featured in?
I have done quite a number of movies like, sexy girls, tusk of life, wicked forces, before of the war, my friend my enemy, just to mention but few.
How did you get into acting?
I got into acting through the help of my uncle Ifeanyi Azodo, who is also a director.
When did you start acting?
I started acting in the year 2007, though I haven’t been steady because I was in the university then, but now I’m all out for it.
What are you working on at the moment?
Well, I just got through with a movie directed by Rahim Caz Chidiebere and I’m going on set in few days for another film.
Tells us about your last project.
Oh the one I just finished. I acted alongside Artus Frank, Kenneth Okonkwo and Eve Esin. It’s actually a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat from start to finish. That’s all I can say for now. So you all sit back and wait for my friend my enemy to hit the market.
Which part of your body do you like most?
Mmmm….my whole body is great. But I admire my legs and boobs the most. I’ll give anything not to have a mark on my legs.
Any comment on Nollywood of today?
Nollywood is forging ahead and it is evident by being rated second best in the world of movie making. And with the pace we are going, a few years from now, I think we’ll be shaking the very foundations of Hollywood.
Message to upcoming artists?
I will say determination is the only way that leads to success. Whatever you determine must surely come to pass. So stay focused and always put God first.
