On July 12th 2012 Nollywoodgossip broke the news about the passing away of Mrs. Okoye, the mother of Africa’s biggest music duo P-Square.
And yesterday, we brought you the first batch of condolence messages from Nigerian celebrities ii a post titled: P-Square’s mom’s death: Ngozi Ezeonu, Yaw, Lurrenz, Nonso Diobi, African China, Kalu Ikeagwu others speak.
Here is the second batch of the post.
Kenneth Okonkwo (Nollywood actor).
Although death is inevitable, I was saddened by the death of the mother of P-Square for the simple reason that her family still needs her more than the heavens do. However we submit to the sovereignty of God and accept by faith that His will is best for us. I pray that God will grant them the grace to bear their loss with fortitude.
Mr Raw (musician).
I felt bad when I heard about P-Square’s mom’s death, may her gentle soul RIP. My brothers Bikonu take heart.
Jennifer Eliogu (Nollywood actress).
It’s sad to hear about the death of their mother. I can imagine how broken they must be, especially when in their lives and career, she was such a huge pillar of support, morally and spiritually. My deepest empathy to the Okoye family. I pray God to give them the vision to see not only their loss but also the glory, as her soul rest in the bosom of our Lord.

I felt so touched by the news because I know for sure that the woman never seizes to prayer for her children and that she’s very humble.

I received the news in a great shock. I had to find out from friends, yet I didn’t believe it until I had to call Peter and he confirmed it. It’s really sad because she was a great mum and we are really going to miss her. I pray God should give them the heart to bear the loss.
Baba De Baba (comedian).
The news of P-Square’s mother’s death came to me as a surprise. This woman of virtues would have lived longer to enjoy the fruit of her labor. However, death is a necessity end that will come when it will come. Peter and Paul, may God grand you the fortitude to bear the loss of your mother and may her soul rest in peace. Amen.
Junior Pope (Nollywood actor).
Well, I was speechless and shocked to the bone because I never knew she was sick. It’s a painful exit at a time like this that her kids are doing so, so well. May her soul rest in perfect peace and I thank her a lot for giving us P-square. And I pray God gives the family the heart to bear the loss.
Ani Iyoho (Nollywood actor).
It was heart breaking. There’s never anything that prepares you for that news. I pray they have the strength to go on and may her soul rest in peace.
Vinchy (musician).
It was a blow not just to the Okoye family but to the entertainment industry as a whole. She was just one mother every artiste/entertainer would want to have. She understood and she was always there for them. I pray God gives the duo the fortitude to bear this loss.
Ajebo (comedian).
Really Sad. In the past they said a lot of about how she helped them through their career. I can imagine the connection and love they had for her. It’s a very difficult loss to bear. But I pray God gives them the fortitude to bear the loss. God’s grace to Psquare and may her soul rest in perfect peace.
