Naija people are wiser than Chinese people, flat ply wood will do justice to the sharp stones before you place your bed and other belongings on it, this style would not work in Nigeria. go to Cele expressway under bridge this similar thing was done their but people still maneuver their way, make merry, sells wares and other stuffs under the bridge now.
