Please introduce yourself to our readers.

I’m Patrick Onyeocha. I’m from Ahiazu Mbaise in Imo State, a graduate of university of Nigeria, Nsukka and now a Nollywood actor. I have been in the industry for six years now.

What are you working on at the moment?

I’m on a movie location in creek town, Calabar. Though I’m leaving here soon to complete the shooting of another movie in Enugu, and after that, I’ll go back to my work as a medical practitioner.

Brief us about the movie shoot in Enugu.

It’s a catholic missionary movie. The producer is Don Micheal and the director is Joe Esse. I’m playing the role of a priest named fr. Charles Heerey. It’s basically a story centered on fr Charles Heerey, an Irish priest who first came to Calabar to preach the gospel and win souls for Christ. And then he moved down to eastern part of Nigeria to continue his mission to win souls for Christ and spread the gospel. Not minding the difficulties he encountered, he still persisted. He later became a bishop and founded St Charles College, Onitsha and St Charles Borrowmeo too. Cecil Harry, Chris Black, and other actors are also in d movie. Most of the actors used are basically actors from Calabar. The role is stressful, but am equal to the task.

Anything else you want to add?

Nollywoodgossip, you guys are doing a wonderful job and I should say more power to your elbow. Keep up the good work and also I want to thank my fans and to tell them that without them I wouldn’t have been where I am today.
