Our attention have been drawn to some declarations made by some dubious and desperate individuals parading themselves as members of Edo Community Germany e.V and that Edo state Community Germany have endorsed and declared their support for Major General Charles Airhiavbere (Rtd) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
On behalf of the National Executive and the entire members of Edo state Community Germany e.V, I hereby call on the INEC, all Political Parties and the general public to disregard such claims as the activities of these desperate individuals are nefarious and dubious.
I wish to further state as the number one custodian of our great organization that Edo state Community Germany e.V is a non-Political organization and as such can not directly and openly support a Candidate of any Political Party. In other words, we do perform our civic rights by voting and encouraging our members and their relatives to vote for their trusted candidates.
However, we very much appreciate the level of development that has overwhelmed our state (Edo) in the past three and half (3 ½) years under the present Government.
We Pray God Almighty for a free and fair election devoid of violence and rancour. May the best candidate win come July 14th, 2012.
Finally, I wish to inform these rogues that we have informed the necessary quarters and Legal actions shall be taken against them in due course.
