Nollywood actor Jim Iyke in Brazil, tells Nollywoodgossip: I came as a student

Shortly after confirming to Nollywoodgossip that the N15m case against him has been thrown out of court for lack of evidence, Nollywood actor Jim Iyke jetted out to Brazil.

Speaking to Delia Innoma (Live Online With Delia) on the reasons for his trip to the South American country, Jim says:

“It’s called Rio +20. The theme is for sustainable development. The objective is to go from oil driven economy to green…a healthier driven economy.”

Speaking further, he says:

“It’s to improve and use the resources on earth astutely in order to cause Mother Nature to be kinder to earth. Brazil is on the forefront of using ethanol energy for their cars and industries, which is a by-product of sugarcane.

“So the world gathered at their doorstep to learn the way forward. It’s a higher consciousness of sorts. I came as a student, as well as others. It’s my responsibility to myself and to the generation next. We all live on earth regardless of our status, religions or locations. So inevitably, we should all be responsible.”

We wish Jim the best in his endeavor to help save the earth.
