He attended St. Theresa’s primary school, Jos, St. Murrumba Secondary School, Jos, then graduated from the University of Jos, where he studied mass communication.
His genre of music is afro dancehall with a fusion of Rnb. He has been singing from primary school, but started singing professionally six years ago.
Speaking to Joy Ubeku (Inside Nollywood With Joy), Gully says:
“The things I detest about fame are lack of privacy and the compulsory fake lifestyle, but I don’t allow that to affect my mindset. I try my best to be myself, not trying to be someone else. Also my biggest fear was failure. But thank God, I have conquered it (smiles).
Speaking further, he touches on his songs that have been released.
“Right now I’m promoting two singles, Omogemi featuring Mario, and Chuku Chuku featuring Soul E Baba. I just shot the video and it is enjoying good airplay on Sound City, Nigezie, and Kennis.”
