- And one year after, Titi Edokpayi, who later changed her name to Titi Edo, became a big name the Benin movie industry, even winning an award which was presented to her by top Nollywood director Zeb Ejiro.
- Today we’re introducing you to Ugwu Lota Elixir, another young actress to watch out for.
- In this short interview, Elixir introduces herself to you, our lovely readers.

Introduction.
I’m Ugwu Lota Elixir, an undergraduate of the University of Benin. I’m studying agricultural economics, and I’m in my 5th year. I’m in my early twenties. I’m the last in a family of four.
Movies.
Open Heavens, Altars Vs Altars, Elixir in Spartacus, where I played the lead, and more.
Challenges.
Most times we have to go to dozens of auditions just to get one job. Things like that can weigh an upcoming actress down. But I’m just trying to focus on being the Nollywood’s next best thing, and ignore the challenges around me for now.
Anything else you want to add?
Yes, well…I just hope more directors, producers and marketers will give us the benefit of doubt to prove that we have what it takes to walk among the best in Nollywood, and also I’m not married.
