I can never embarrass or insult my fans – Nollywood actor Nonso Diobi tells Nollywoodgossip

  • Here is the second part of that interview.

By Joy Ubeku (Inside Nollywood With Joy).

Can you please tell us about your most challenging movie so far?

My most challenging movie was twin’s affair where I acted as twins. It was like me being in two places at the same time. The job took quite some time because I made few mistakes. I mixed up the role sometimes. I even had to sleep on set sometimes just to rehearse on my own.

How do you handle your female fans?

Speaking about my female fans, I do get mobbed at times, especially during events or during shopping, but I’m used to it. If I have the time, I answer their greetings and move on. But I can never embarrass or insult them because they are my fans. After God, my family, they are next, so I hold them dear to my heart.

Are you married or single?

Single.

Anything else you want to add?

Yes, I want to talk about upcoming actresses. Why I base it on only the females is because they are the proud ones. Just because you featured in a movie or two doesn’t make you more powerful or popular. The worst is that they do it to even us, the pioneers. If they start at this stage to act their game of pride, then I wonder what’s gonna happen when they start featuring in real movies. My advice is pride comes before a fall, so they should take it slow.
