Please kindly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am Ekenedilichukwu Ugochukwu Eric Nwenweh, a native of Enugwu Ukwu in Anambra state, did my primary school at Binta Mustapha Science Nursery and primary school Kano state, my secondary school was at Dennis memorial grammar school Onitsha, then studied Theatre Arts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra state, did my youth service in Kaduna, with the Ministry of Arts and Culture.

When did you start acting professionally?

I started acting professionally about five years ago.

Why acting?

Acting chose me. It’s something I have always had passion for right from childhood. So I grew up and found myself pursuing that dream. That was the reason I chose to study it in school.

 Your first film?

My first film was Holy Prostitute. The experience wasn’t so bad, except the naivety that comes with facing the camera for the first time. But I did my best.

What are you working on presently?

Presently I’m working on a new movie with Yul Edochie, Ngozi Ezeonu, and Ugezu J. Ugezu. It’s an African story laced with royalty, treachery and love…my character in the movie is an arrogant wealthy and mean lover.

What challenges do you face as an actor?

As an actor the challenges among other things are the ability to read the story, and immerse myself into the character I’m playing.

Which of your movies brought you to the limelight?

I have done a couple of films before I got noticed. But the movies that brought me to people’s notice were Eran and Erak and Silence of the gods. Then Evil Intention gave me the leap. In all, though, every movie I have done helped to push me further in my career and I appreciate the producers for the opportunities.

What have you benefited from acting?

First, being an actor has given me career fulfillment. There’s nothing as satisfying as doing a job you are passionate about, that’s my greatest gain, the fame is just a plus.

Which role in a film would Mr Ken never play?

I haven’t really placed any restrictions on myself as regards the roles I would play. But I guess nudity would be out of it.

Tell us briefly about your family life.

I’m the sixth child of my parents. I come from a wonderful and close knit family, three boys and four girls.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I hope to go beyond where I am presently in my career and life. Success and expansion are the things everyone prays for. And by God’s grace, I’ll not be an exception. I just work hard and let God do His part.

Apart from acting what else do you do?

I’m into music. I sing and perform, I’m very good with the guitar and keyboard, and I’m a businessman. I’m a compere too, a coach and a writer.

Can you go nude for 10billion?

No!

What do you think of the insecurity in the country?

I think the security situation in the country is a major source of worry. It’s a pity that we can no longer feel safe in our country. I think the government has to identify what the issues that triggered all these are, and tackle them with the various security agencies. Moreover, jobs should be created to absorb the youths and keep them gainfully employed. Like it is said, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

Anything you want to add?

First of all, I’ll like to thank and appreciate my fans for their wonderful support and loyalty. Without you there will be no me. So I thank all my fans and pray for God’s blessings upon you.

Nollywoodgossip wish you the best.

Thanks very much.
