Nigeria’s Hollywood actress Ebbe Bassey wows in Turning Point

A couple of days back, we started bringing you some EXCLUSIVES from the Hollywood movie Turning Point. We brought you Exclusive Scene Preview of “Turning Point” featuring Oge Okoye, Jackie Appiah and K.D. Aubert.

Today, we’ll like to introduce you to another cast of the wave-making movie Ebbe Bassey.

Ebbe Bassey was born in the Bronx, New York and raised in Calabar, Nigeria, West Africa. She is an actress, writer, producer who believes that art should educate and entertain. She studied the Meisner technique of Method acting at the William Esper Studio under the tutelage of Ms. Maggie Flanigan.

In 2007, under the umbrella of her production company, 10Wembly Productions, Ebbe produced her first short film “Siri Oko Fo (Mending Fences)” in which she starred, co-wrote and executive produced. The film made its debut at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner and has been accepted at other prestigious film festivals such as the Hollywood Black Film Festival, Boston International Film Festival,Urban World, Newfilmmakers,London’s Raindance, Show Off Your Shorts film festivals.

About the Author

Delia Innoma was born 26 September in Lagos. After her OND in Accounting, IMT Enugu, she left for further studies abroad. Her interests on computer made her study and achieved certificate in Computer programming. In Germany where she lives till date, she discovered her love for acting and featured in 1995 in German Series (Comedy Factory). Delia is happily married with 2 wonderful kids. Her son has passion for music and her daughter draws her dreams on paper. These kids will not stop at anything to make her a happy Mum. She loves being mum, but still had discovered something that makes her happy and that is writing. She writes her mind about issues and also likes to help other people discover their dreams. She recognized early enough that “is not who we are that hold us back on our success, but who we think we are”.
